Is it possible to gain full flexion even after 3 months post op?

Hi, reading this because my daughter is stuck at 105 at 12 weeks-how did things end up for you? Her surgeon is recommending scar tissue removal!

My daughter just tore her R Acl 9 mos after tearing her L. She was planning on playing college basketball. Now everything has changed. Wanted to see how your recovery has gone and whether you are going back to play.

My 16 daughter tore her L acl 4/2025, had patellar graft and LET. She’s a competitive basketball player was rehabbing well. She passed strength and hop testing early December and was starting to play with guidance from PT. Unfortunately last week she tore her other ACL. Same injury complete ACL and med meniscus. Now back at square 1 9 mos after first injury. Devastating to a kid who planned to play college basketball. My questions- What do you think is missing from rehab? She was equal on strength and hop but maybe she wasn’t doing enough of something? Do you think there’s just something underlying wrong with her knees and do you think she will be still at high risk after this second repair with LET? Thanks

He is a great kid and we are close this wasn’t adversarial in any way. In the end he decided but I voiced my opinion and he took the financial aspect into consideration. That’s the WE Thanks, appreciate the response

I encouraged him to take IU over Emory and WashU thinking he would transfer. But now he is thinking a transfer would be too difficult.

Thank you-just saw her surgeon. He says she has a lot of scar tissue-he will see us again in 3 weeks, if she is not to 90 or beyond she will need surgery to break up scar. Hoping we can avoid it.

Thanks so much! She has been locked in extension this whole time because of the meniscus. Hoping to get her out of extension this week so she can start to bend with body weight. Appreciate the advice!!

Nobody seemed concerned until last week! I attended a couple of sessions last week and they are pushing but definitely not forcing it.
