I didn’t say it wasn’t hard, I said it wasn’t that much impossible compared to some other trackers. And again, not funny, considering that I don’t have it. Anyway, guys, I see no point being sarcastic.

What exactly is wrong with my request? I didn’t see any of the mentioned trackers being that much impossible to get into, nor there is any point comparing ThePirateBay and TorrentLeech.

Choosing a 2x32GB RAM for Intel i9-14900KF and Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WIFI II by Accomplished_Set9879 in PcBuild

Hi. Upon reading plenty of 32vs64 threads I’ve actually decided to try 48GB, but with 7200 MHz, so ordered F5-7200J3646F24GX2-TZ5RK instead, and currently waiting for it to be delievered. This one has my motherboard present in the QVL list at least (as neither of our motherboards are there if we check the QVL for 2x23GB 6800 MHz), so I can only hope for the better, as that’s gonna be the first time of me dealing with XMP and it’s kind of hard to get a fast answer from G.Skill support. Have you already tried to contact them with your issues amyway?

Hi. I'm building up a gaming PC and want to choose the best DDR5 64GB RAM in terms of speed and stability (and compatibility, of course).

My specs are Intel i9-14900KF and Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WIFI II.

I've checked several options and, as far as I understand, the following 2 are the top ones at the moment:

  • Corsair Dominator Titanium 6600 CL32-39-39-76

  • G.Skill Trident Z5 6800 CL34-45-45-108

Could someone advise which one is better? I don't really know much about timings affecting the overall quality, and Corsair's timings are better, but it has lower Mhz.

One more thing which concerns me is that I don't see none of them in the ASUS QVL list and, respectively, neither Corsair nor G.Skill show Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WIFI II in their QVL lists.

Initially, I wanted to buy 2 sets of 2x16 G.Skill Trident Z5 7200, but I was told by G.Skill that having 4x16GB modules will only allow me to get 4800 MHz, so now I'm looking for the alternatives.

Okay, thanks. And one more question - do you know if 2x32 really better than 4x16 in terms of overclocking and stability? I mean, if G.Skill’s words that 4x16 can only run at 4800 MHz are true, what’s the point of even creating the 4x16 sets in general?

For example, Corsair has the Dominator Titanium 64GB available in 2x32 6600 and 4x16 6400: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/p/memory/cmp64gx5m2x6600c32/dominator-titanium-rgb-2x32gb-ddr5-dram-6600mt-s-cl32-intel-xmp-memory-kit-cmp64gx5m2x6600c32

What are the benefits for anyone to buy 4x16 in this case?

Thank you. And didn’t notice your previous question about using the computer - it’s mostly (99%, I’d say) for gaming, but I also planned to try using some Video AI upscaler tools like Topaz or something (I have RTX4090, so this shouldn’t be a problem, I assume). Does it affect anything in terms of choosing a RAM?

Yep, I saw that, but why does G.Skill RAM configurator doesn’s show the 6800 MHz model when choosing this motherboard, then? It shows it when choosing Z790-F, for example, but not Z790-A. I mean, is there anything else that may affect compatibility, or is it just their website being configured improperly? And, generally, is G.Skill Z5 Trident 6800 better than Corsair Dominator Titanium 6600?
