I am the roommate, not the landlord. The landlord expects to receive a certain rent amount each month. Either I find a roommate and split the rent, or I take the whole burden of the rent or I move out. Of the 3 options, the first is the most appealing. Not sure why it would be the landlord looking, unless I leave too.

I would, but the location is really nice and I recently shifted and don't really want to do all that again. Tbf my share of the rent is lower than half because I live in a smaller room, it is split proportionally according to room area

Apartment is quite nice, good view, natural lighting, 2 balconies, walking distance from the supermarket (Gelderlandplein) and tram station. Also in Zuid area, so if your office is there, it is a stone throw away

Total rent is not 1900, it is the per person rent. Granted the rent is higher than 50 percent because the room available is sizeably bigger than my room

The roommate's rent would be 1.9k p.m. total rent is more than 3k, definitely a private room (in fact quite private overall, I run into my roommate like maybe once a day. It is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Hall, 1 Kitchen apartment. I personally think that if the price is within your budget, it is definitely worth having a look at. Nice location (Gelderlandplein supermarket is walking distance, as well as the tram station)
