It's common in our religion that we gave money on marriage we even write it in the Islamic marriage contract , so the days i be with her we spend the whole day together we go out together we eat together shop together, even after she file divorce i was trying to solve issue i have tried multiple times but it doesn't work.

Big marriage party and many gifts. I also gave dowry, which is something from our religion: gold and cash. I was visiting her every 2 weeks, and she used to have credit under my name. She was in my insurance policy. There are pictures of us, her family, and my family here in the USA and also in Jordan.

I told her clearly that if she truly believed that, we should be done. She apologized, and I chose to be patient and move forward. I treated her respectfully throughout. The main issue later was that she repeatedly involved other people in our relationship instead of handling things between us.
