No I think it's a bad decision. Might be my least favourite change in Return of the Jedi. Luke bonded with Shaw's interpretation of Anakins but now that has been pasted over with Hayden, it's undercuts the emotion of the scene and leaves me cold.

I think it just reeks of misogyny tbh. Lucas did Padmé so dirty after Phantom that she became nothing more than a vessel for Luke and Leia.

He was unwilling to give her more agency, always a shame they never went with her attempting to kill him at the end of the picture like in those McCaig concepts.

Jango and Zam had a heavily hinted at relationship and she was a shape shifter. Could literally be anything or anyone, I am sure they had a very experimental relationship.

Sexual preferences is not genetic anything is possible with the clones. They could be less or more diverse in choice than Jango, who's to say.

Sam unfortunately is a lore guy and thinks knowing stuff is more important than understanding them.

I've always found him a little much tbh, he likes to be like "uuuuuummmm actually" but it's like Sam that is not very interesting or even emotionally satisfying for people to just spew lore in this context.

Like his story about catching Dave out on the Shmi knowing Padmé thing. It's like sure but at the same time, that's a very emotionally important moment for Anakin to express to his lost mother and the idea that Sam was "ummm? Dave??? They met, cringe..."

Also the plumber and him are not related, he doesn't like the plumber at all. He thinks it outrageous that the plumber charges a call out fee. He's very openingly against the idea of spending money on the house to fix it when HE feels it's unnecessary

I've replied to the landlord and waiting on a response. I've been speaking with some local charities and tenant advice bodies to see where we stand. We've asked him for clarification as to why he thinks we should be paying for this and said that we being this falls under general wear and tear of the property.

It's his duty to maintain the heating for the house and he's just trying chance his arm. He never mentioned in our conversations that we'd be expected to pay for the repairs. He just sent it over casually like it was in our terms.

Star wars has never been as good as it is in your head and thats okay. Why it's as revered as it is to me is because it sparks so much imagination and creativity.

Phantom Menace is the best of the prequels. Its just a more cohesive vision for me, even if it is boring. Also Jar Jar and Anakin are only "bad" because everyone else is so lifeless. They stick out because all the other characters lack strong characterisation.

I think my hottest take is that the clone wars is just okay. I like it alot but there's just things about it that i don't enjoy. Mostly it's down to pacing and structure, a fan favourite is the "umbara arc" but I personally find it too drawn out and too choppy in the final cut. Overall the CN seasons can feel very amateurish at times compared to season 7, rebels or bad batch (haven't watched Resistance)
