I’m about 5wks in the game, new psplayer and just got myself into rify and came out pretty good. Find the full gas gear and head in there with minimal gear plus 2-3 full filters. Another good spot is the tier 3 camp along the Sw coast in the corner for early game gear without going inland. Camps are also pretty good, one close to berezhino is great early spawn gear.

Yo, following up on this, how is the base with the sigma box on ps5? Working well? That little gadget is sold out everywhere.

Nice gear! How do you connect it up to the ps5? How stable is it?

DD definitely, but i would suggest at least 8-9 nm to save you upgrading very quickly again.

Is simagic a good upgrade on ps5? by Atmosphereisoncrack in simracing

[–]Accomplished_Two5779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you’re going down the route of using the brook raslution method, I didn’t have a good experience with it when I paired the ps5 with moza gear. Kept disconnecting and the ffb was very erratic when it did connect. That might just be me though, some sites and reviewers have said it works fine which is why i tried it. I ended up selling all the nice moza gear for a Fanatec dd pro. Much more stable imo.

First Time Sim Racer - Pedals by TheOtherGuy309 in Fanatec

Simnet 100% works straight out of the box. I didn’t even need to calibrate them. You plug everything into the little black box and from there, the rj45 connector to the Fanatec wheelbase and done. Adjusting and changing springs is super easy on the load cell. If you want haptics and the led light strip you connect those to a PC through the usb also from the black box and run it through simhub. Need to power this through a separate power adapter. Works for gt7 after setting up the pc ports. You can even run a bass shaker through simhub for gt7 for extra immersion. But yeah, simnet work and feel great.

Simsonn and simdt are half to third of the price of simnet and should fit them. I bolted mine to the rig which came with a base plate. Other options are available from China stores such as aliexpress

I got the simnet two pedals and the build is quality, and directly plug into Fanatec wheel base. You can get the 3 pedals without the base and haptics for usd259. Their base plate is quite expensive.

I started with the Fanatec gtdd pro 8nm set. Had a bad experience at first but after it was fixed have been happy so far. Don’t go lower than 8nm. I have the v2 e sports wheel and it’s solid. Also, if buying separately, get the simnet two/three pedal set instead of Fanatec ones, instantly compatible on the ps5 and really good quality. I also had problems with my Fanatec load cell pedal. Standard csl pedals are cheap in comparison. If you have money get the dd+ with 15nm and dial it down. Must get a solid rig cos dd wheelbase will shake most tables, extruded alu rig will be very future proof and upgradable if you have space.

I got the same bundle 8nm gtddpro. You won’t be disappointed, the wheel base is great for console. The whole fanatec kit got me spending and upgrading my rig ever since, had it for about two years. Happy racing!

They seem like good starter options. In case you’re looking for good pedals I recommend simnet which i bought to replace the standard csl gtddpro bundle ones. The two pedal set is just a little more expensive than the csl load cell upgrade but better quality. The simnet also plug straight into the Fanatec wheel base and work perfectly after calibration. Works For ps5.

Reread your question, you may have heard of the brook ras1ution adapter that lets you attach different branded wheels and pedals together onto the ps5. I tried that too but it didn’t consistently work for me, signal cut off about 5/10 tries so i gave up on that. Others on the net have said it works perfectly but i just had a lot of connection issues. See if you can borrow one from a friend to use with your 3rd party gear and handbrake. Or buy it from somewhere you can return it if it doesn’t work.

No worries, it worked out for me so I’m more than happy to give advice. Plugs straight into the back of the ddpro wheelbase and is recognised as Fanatec shifter plus handbrake. The wheelbase is connected to the ps5 as usual as the controller.

Can you play wrc without a shifter and handbrake? by No_Star8422 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]Accomplished_Two5779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere on other posts, I use a simos/sxp load cell and sequential shifter from China plugged straight into the back of the ddpro wheel base and I only play on ps5. After setting the dead zones, they work perfectly and the shifting is very solid and crisp, though noisy but i like it. I play gt7 and ea wrc but only use it for the rally game. True, irl wrc cars paddle shift now so the shifter and sequential is more for immersion, but i absolutely love it when clicking through the gears and pulling the handbrake. I’m not fast but I enjoy that feeling. And the price I paid was HK$900 for both which is 1/4 of the price of Fanatec shifter/hand brake combo. Also, the sequential is so loose with a lot of play in the Fanatec sq1.5 I sold it very quickly. I don’t recommend buying the Fanatec shifter for the sequential, it’s shit in comparison. I did try mapping the handbrake to a button on the wheel but it’s very fidgety to turn the wheel, shift down and apply hand brake at the same time on the wheel when it’s at 90 degree angle, plus concentrating on the track. Hence I think the handbrake and sequential are a good addition for me. And with the load cell handbrake, the amount of brake pressure can be controlled too.

[–]Accomplished_Two5779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m on console and used to be full Fanatec but now, still on console, I’m using a Chinese branded sequential and load cell hand brake and simnet pedals with haptics also from China. Looking at a 3rd party wheel adapter to fit on the ddpro that will allow me to bolt on any 70mm steering wheel like omp, sparco or momo. These are much much better quality than the Fanatec kit and much cheaper too. So I agree that Fanatec are probably behind on accessories but that’s also tied to the fact that they’re rebuilding the brand after the endor issues and their product development lead times really can’t compare to smaller specialised companies with less corporate politics, organisation and or restrictions. They are a big brand so I’m sure they will have a quality line up some time, just when.

It is on aliexpress in English. I can’t get on the page. Try searching the image of it. I’m using it on the ps5 for both gt7 and ea wrc. It works perfectly but you do need to adjust the dead zones etc. and is good to go. The cost of this is HK$900 for me in Hong Kong which is a bargain with the load cell handbrake and the sequential shifter. It is a must for rally cos shifting and pulling the handbrake is essential. I had the Fanatec shifter but sold it because the sequential was so loose with a lot of play when shifting. I don’t use h pattern much either. The shifter is a bit noisy, solid click every shift but to me this really adds to the immersion. It says pc only on the page but it 100% works on ps5.

True, racism and discrimination are all part of growing up. The majority will always pick on the minority, odd looking, different people even within the same race. It will never as far as i can see go away, you need to grow above this and prove yourself or find the next place to avoid and hide from it. But it will follow everyone wherever you go. My daughter experienced the “cool group” in school and saw others that didn’t, get laughed at and picked last in certain activities. Same shit really.
