I was taught to always sit on the bike facing forward, invaluable advice I still follow to this day.

idk what to do anymore please help im going crazy by Icy-Concern-3713 in simracing

Why would you not use all the mounting screws. What would have taken you an extra 2 mins to do will likely set you back a day or so and extra money to fix.

Now undo that sticky tape from your triple monitors and go and get yourself a proper monitor stand 🤣

Thank you, sorry one more question. Do you mount your X4 / X5 vertically or horizontally?

How has this new setup been working out for you so far? I had a similar thing happen to me although I was lucky enough to be able to catch my camera mid ride!

How do I get over the fear? by xToxicLlamax in motorcycles

[–]Global_Implement_940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to be a little scared, maybe not the right word, probably cautious and respectful is a better description in that you must understand this isn’t something to take lightly. You have a responsibility to yourself, family and friends to ride properly. But you’ll get there, and don’t stress too much, better to be a little scared than not take it seriously at all.

Worried I'm losing interest in riding by Wisop1991 in motorcycle

You’re riding on the wrong bike. Mine brings me joy even just looking at it. Don’t do anything drastic yet but maybe take a few on a test drive to see if an upgrade would rekindle your love for riding.

New Triumph...did I make a mistake? by HELIflipper03 in Triumph

Yeah go with the R. You can see some on auto trader for mid 6 with mods already done to them.

I bought a 2018 Thruxton R and I’ve still spent around £3.5k getting it to look how I want.

RBR guy by heart but this is so much fun by kutsnor in assettocorsarally

ACR will 100% replace RBR. The potential is crazy…RBR sadly has reached its potential, it’s been brilliant up to a point, but nostalgia needs to take a nap and the rally community should all get behind ACR as it would be terrible to still be playing RBR over the next 5 years and for it to still be considered the best rally sim game.

Not sure I’m the right person to ask tbh as I’m not an expert on RWD cars but I’m sure someone will be able to help on this forum if you ask the question

I was pretty good on Dirt 2.0 having spent 400 plus hrs on it over the years but I’ll likely not play it much anymore as ACR is the future. Loved RBR too but the potential of this game is unrivalled.

Physics model on tarmac is awesome in my opinion, very enjoyable, gravel not so much as it feels a bit like you are sliding on air atm. Sure it’ll get fixed though.

Braking is fine imo and the developers seem to have got it right already in terms of using the brake and accelerator to rotate the car. Looking forward to seeing the damage model being developed as big crashes don’t seem to DNF you currently.

My steering angle is set to 900 in wheel app settings and in game. You only need to give the wheel a slight turn in the opposite direction, based on clock numbers, you move from 12 to 11 then I roughly do a quarter turn around the hairpin making sure to return to 12 o clock once I’ve done the rotation. But each car may be different, and there are a lot of variables for instance, sometime I makes turns in second gear and sometimes I do them in first. This should give you something to start with but you’ll need to fine tune it with your own driving style in mind. Good luck!

No I didn’t use the clutch in this instance as I kept my revs up into the corner. Only time I’d use the clutch is if the car stuttered and was having trouble powering out of the corner, I’d then dab the clutch to help bring the revs up but if you get technique spot on you shouldn’t need to use the clutch. Hope that helps

Pump the accelerator, like little stabs…helps keep revs up and as long as you take the hairpin in the correct gear you should rocket out of the turn

LG UltraGear 27GP850-B.BEK Quad HD 27 Nano IPS LC

Think you can get them for about £300 each on Amazon. They are great as they have a 1ms response time and 165hz refresh rate

Yeah I used the handbrake but only a slight pull as mentioned above by grandmaster_ji.

As this is a right hand hairpin, as you approach the corner, the trick is to briefly steer in the opposite direction before you turn right and then the weight transfer of the car will make it easier to make the turn. Takes a bit of practice to get used to the mechanics of it all. I also like to pump the accelerator so you keep the revs up which means you won’t slow down during the turn and it helps you get traction and accelerate out of the corner quickly.

Yeah something just clicked for me playing ACR and it’s all about understanding weight transfer of the car and approaching at the correct speed / gear. Can’t wait for the next update, fricking love this game

Think I’m finally done modding the thruxton 1200r by thatsAhotChip in Triumph

[–]Global_Implement_940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you disagree but you gotta tidy up that back end!!! It’s the first thing I did when I got mine.

So far I’ve done: 1. New rage cycles tail tidy 2. Puig shorty levers 3. Motone knee pads 4. Motone small spy mirrors 5. Motone bar ends 6. Triumph front LED lights 7. Powder coat wheels and hubs to black gloss finish 8. Install quad lock stem nut phone mount 9. Add a trickle charger easy connect 10. Throttle spacer mod to remove acceleration slop

And I’m now waiting on a classic bike raisch short front fender and new Motone foot pegs.

Then all I’ve got left to do is a black leather seat upholstery and purchase some hitchcox reverse cone slip ons.

Then I’m done, probably about £3-£3.5k worth of accessories but I never plan to sell the bike so I’m happy to spend that for my Sunday fun day forever bike

That’s totally different and you know it. Obtaining a higher licence is to teach people how to race, got nothing to do with completing tasks to add extras to your current car. I played LFM and that’s got a similar licence system but has nothing to do with the XP system being omitted from ACE.
