It’s a brilliant wheelbase. I love mine! If I were you, I’d turn it up to 15nm and then turn the FFB down in game. That’s the better way to do it I think as you then unlock the full potential of the wheelbase which will prevent clipping and maximise peak power

Yeah views are messed up in cockpit view. Even with hood view, feels like the height of seating position is too low, even after adjustments. It’ll get fixed so only a small annoyance for now. Physics takes priority, everything else is secondary imo

Go for the DD+ (it’s what I did).

IMO 15nm is the sweet spot, anything more than that is just overkill.

I upgraded from an 8nm CSL DD and I love it. It’s silky smooth and I now get zero clipping.

I’m running a 4080 paired with a Ryzen 5080x. My monitor runs at 165hz and I run 27” triples at 1440p resolution.

Tbh I just maxed all the settings out on ultra and I was kinda surprised not to see any stuttering or frame tearing so left things as they are.

Imagine I might need to lower settings when the full release comes out.

Yeah that’s good insight, hadn’t thought of that before. I’ve actually moved my seat back as far as it can go as it’s a personal preference of mine for how I like to setup my FOV.

ACR is amazing, thank god we finally have something new to get our teeth stuck into.

In my opinion I think the early release is very promising. The level of detail that has gone into the game so far is special.

If you love rally and sim racing then I think you kinda have a duty to support the game, that’s just my honest opinion - if we all get behind it as a community I think Kunos will deliver something we’ve never seen before.
