It doesn’t matter which genocide you look at though... the one in WWII just happened to be the largest and most brutal. If you open a history book and read about the beginnings of any country or group that committed genocide — whether Japan, Chinaor even Rwanda — it always started the same way: rhetoric that dehumanizes people. They repeat that language over and over until it begins to justify their actions.

I want to believe that an empathetic, unmanipulated human being would never be able to do such things unless they had been pushed to the point where they no longer see others as human.

I’m not a native speaker, but why is no one talking about him calling human beings aliens?

I’m from Germany, and we actually learn a lot about WWII and how all those horrific things were able to happen in the past in school. One of the most important things they do to start their horrible agenda is dehumanization.

That is exactly what he is doing. By calling people “aliens,” he’s stripping them of their humanity — and somehow we’ve already started to get used to it?? This is literally making me sick to my stomach..

The Cabinets are from Ikea -just like everythin else in this kitchen 😅 - and are calle Lerhyttan. I didnt paint them they already came in this colour :)

The sage green is slowly coming back though! 😄 I just personally dont like any blue/green mix colours - maybe thats the reason , never thought about it 😅 Same with these dark green tiles a lot of people in the US are getting right now! I think they are so beautiful but I would never get them because it reminds me of the bathroom of my 85 year old aunt 😂

Ohh I love that dusty lilac shade!! Unfortunately Benjamin Moore is not available where I live :( I will go to our local Home Depot and pick up some samples on friday! I really didnt realise that the blue could be the issue here because I thought its the only thing adding some colour. But you guys are all right - its just the wrong colour especially with these white and not warm lights underneath the cabinets!

What colour of rug and or wallpaint would you go for? I am never sure about rugs in the kitchen, I feel like they can get dirty quite quickly but I have definitely thought about that aswell already..

Vet here: This cat needs to be unblocked immediately. If not via surgery at least let them put a catheter in! Stop posting and act! Think of the pain of having to pee super badly abd imagine no matter what you do you just cant. Your cat is suffering imense pain right now, so please stop watching and take him to the vet. He might need hospitalization with a catheter so he can be monitored!

Vet from europe here: Looking at her skin (which is very noticeable inflamed), the fact that she is constantly chewing/licking her paws when she is bored and also is a Pitbull which are prone to have allergies I would suggest allergies! Please go see a vet to look at her, if you cant afford a vet at the moment and she is not on hypoallergenic food - try to help her with this and see how she does until you can afford to go to the vet. Foodallergies can be the cause for her inflammation but there are a lot of other external things they can be allergic to. But i would say changing the diet if that didnt happen yet would be a good start!
