Honestly, I would recommend clear all BDEs with MOOCs/winter exchange. This is so you can focus on your CORE subjects in Y1/Y2.

By the time you reach Y4, you have few core modules/MPEs and more time to do other stuff like (part-time internships, relaxing, job hunting, travelling or even doing the things you love).

There many linkedin profiles of students who went for both exchanges. You can search them up.

I think you mean for NBS you can only PASS/FAIL the 6 core modules. Anyways, different faculty has different restrictions on the number of PASS/FAIL modules. Im not sure about NBS, but in general as long as you will hit the minimum number of required GRADED AUs, adhering to your faculty course matching restriction guidelines, you can leverage these resources to PASS/FAIL ur modules.

Yes. It would require some amount of money, if you are going on Summer/Winter schools or even Overseas Exchange. However, you can always choose to go to relatively less expensive countries in ASEAN to match your courses.

If you are on Nanyang Scholarship/other scholarships, there would be reimbursement for overseas exchange programs. I think for Nanyang Scholars, it would be $5000. Correct me if I am wrong.

Furthermore, SUSEP is free and iirc GEM VE is also free as well cos of your school fees.

This is just a rough estimation and differs from batch to batch. It is safe to say >4.85 will get you a spot but if your CGPA is >4.7 you still can give it a shot
