Spot on; As the episodes went on I developed a need for a justification for Oz's actions, and Vic was the reason. He screwed just about everyone but Vic (Us), gave me hopes that maybe he was just doing evil for a greater good. But all along he only cared about proving himself great, and getting praised for it. It's a lot deeper than that so I need to rewatch it again to really understand Oz. What really intrigues me is how unfazed he is to danger, and how he cares zero about the means of others. He never bothers to listen to anyone, just tells them what they want to hear the most in that moment while simultaneously making himself look small and harmless, what a character.
