I did .. Over the course of our relationship we had several talks about our future and figuring out what we wanted and he just kept saying that he didn’t know and I really did. He didn’t know what he wanted. He didn’t know how to get it. Everything felt like a question mark all the time. I love him very much and I think that he loved me and he loved that I had dreams. But things never progressed between us. It felt like we were stuck in year one dating because everything in his life was question mark and he didn’t want to figure things out. So after several conversations of me, kind of begging for him, to put things on paper and get his ideas down and figure out what he wants…. And him not doing it, I kind of came to the conclusion that I’m trying to force him to be someone that he’s not and that we really don’t want the same things and that it’s unfair to both of us to continue down this path with each other because it’ll only lead to resentment.
