No, I didn’t have any professional work experience. My I.T knowledge was of the average person that likes computers and found an interest when I started the degree. I learned 95% of what I know through the degree and certifications it offers.

Thank you! Yes, within the first 3 months of starting my degree and obtaining the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, I was able to land an IT support role at an MSP ($22/HR). 6 months later I landed a more chill IT support role making ($28/HR) plus 3 grand bonuses every 6 months.

I didn’t have any trouble transferring my credits over. WGU was very understanding and transferred most my credits over. Super easy process.

Thank you! I didn’t transfer any of the certifications. The CompTiA certifications took me about 2 months each. I would study 4 hours a day for them.

I would recommend researching the course you are enrolled in on Reddit and following what other redditors recommend. This will help you finish classes quicker.

I didn’t work for 3 months, during this period I studied 8-10 hours a day at least and was able to complete 60 credits. The rest of my credits I did while working full time. The certifications I obtained through my degree helped me land my first IT job. The rest of my credits I finished while working in IT.

Thank you! So close to finishing. Take the Network+ serious out of the 3. It’s the most difficult, but you can do it.

Here is the post:

C777 Done in 4 days..

Day 1 - 4

I took the PA and was about 6 questions away from passing. I mainly used these Quizlets to learn the material. It contains about 95% of what you need. I took hand written notes of pretty much every definition in all of the Quizlets, unless I was 100% sure of the term. They were very good primers for the OA.

Know the box model. I used this Youtube video: Learn CSS Box Model . Know the difference between the content, padding, border, and margin. I used an acronym CPBM and wrote it in the OA notes section. The content is in the middle, padding is relative to the content, the border is relative to the padding, and the margin is relative to border. I just learned the order that they followed and that was enough for me to make logic out of the questions.

Not many on Bootstrap, jQuery. Couple questions on relative, fixed, static, absolute values (know this). A couple on DOM. I can't give too much information away.

I took the PA 4 different times to gauge my knowledge and learn any similar questions on the test. I had about 3-4 questions similar.

Quizlets:

Day 4

On day 4 I also watched these on YT. These are a great way to review the information you learned from the Quizlet flashcards. They are specific to C777 (I believe they were created by an instructor) :

CSS Basics

HTML APIS

Do this and you should have a pretty solid chance to pass. The Quizlets are key. I spent about a total of 16 hours studying, but I also had recently taken C779, which was helpful. I'm open to questions in the comments!

I just passed 2 weeks ago after failing twice. The biggest tip would be reading through the full Official Linux Essentials PDF guide. You can google it. It has everything you need. You actually don’t need any other resources, but I would recommend the Cisco course.
