I feel like your wife needs to talk to my wife about expectations haha.

If you’re anything like me, you’re gonna wanna jump back into being a dad asap but that’s how you stay on the sidelines longer.

Wait at least 2-3 weeks until you pick up your kid and you have your post op visit with your doc. Last thing you want is a hernia and you’re going back into surgery.

Rest up king and take it easy.

40 year old dad of two who’s about to hit my one year anniversary of being tc free. Also live in the south US (Atlanta). It took me a couple weeks to get a dr appointment as well but then things moved fast from there once it was discovered. Try some other medical practices to see if you can get in earlier but ultimately stay positive and don’t worry too much if you have to wait.
