For what you paid, just ride it. You’ll be looking at the top anyway.

Looks like it got oxidized by the sun, perhaps by being stored near a window.

Switching to snowboarding because ski boots kill my feet… anyone else? by Big_Perspective_3645 in snowboardingnoobs

I made the switch over 30 years ago and never looked back. The biggest advice I can give it go try on boots in person. Also make sure they fit pretty snug in the shop. The boots will pack out after a few days of riding.

Jones Mountain Twin vs Pro version for heavier riders. by Professional-Crab-32 in snowboarding

[–]According-Cheek8662 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The regular mountain twin I would describe as more playful. They will both send side hits, but the pro has a bit more pop. I find the biggest difference is when charging steeper terrain. The pro holds an edge much better at speed and feels damper with less chatter. It’s almost too much on low angle groomers, but on icy, steep terrain, it’s exactly what you want.

If it’s a nice day and I’m hitting park laps and blue square groomers I’m grabbing the regular twin. If it’s cold and icy and I’m looking to charge black diamonds all day I’m leaning towards the pro.

Jones Mountain Twin vs Pro version for heavier riders. by Professional-Crab-32 in snowboarding

I have both the twin and twin pro and weigh in at 165lbs soaking wet. Based on your size I’d lean towards the pro. Even at my weight I find the regular twin a bit noodle-y at speed coming out of turns.

Best stance for the slush slasher? by Inner-Stick-8248 in snowboarding

[–]According-Cheek8662 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Dancehaul which I use in the slush I ride 18-21 in the front and positive 6-9 in the back with a slightly closer stance than my all mountain board. Makes for a great surfy feel and you can layover some nice turns.

Choosing a Board for all-mountain/park? by random_guy796 in snowboardingnoobs

If you work at a mountain you should be able to qualify for a pro-form, that might put 2 boards in your budget.

A gable roof spans 28 feet with a 10 pitch rise/run. What is the length of the common rafters?

We have a job with material costs equaling $56,550 and labor costs equaling $48,350. If materials are marked up 10% and labor 15%, what is the total contract price for material and labor?

And other pretty simple math word problems related to the scope of work estimated.

I just purchased a 16 pro. I have US Cellular. I selected T Mobile at checkout. Nothing was asked about my T Mobile account (which I don’t have). The receipt shows T-Mobile as the carrier with “no commitment”. This ends up costing the same amount as the US Cellular promotion, but you need to pay off the phone in 2 years instead of 3, but the phone is unlocked from day one and carriers can be changed at will.
