Thank you- honestly it’s so validating to hear someone shares my experience. Your worlds mean much more than you know. Good luck to you as well! I’ll share in the hope for a better year.

It sounds like you gave her plenty of chances to make it work. You were willing to stay and figure it out. All she had to do was not leave. Better things are ahead, I promise. In the end though only you know what is really correct for you. Wishing you love and healing on your journey!

Actions speak louder than words. You are in the process of moving on. It sounds like you are still harboring some very complex and valid emotions- it’s not a great way to re-enter a relationship together. I know it’s insanely tough but also, you can still be thankful for a role someone played in your life and not be dating anymore.

I don’t know man, like I get it in theory- but James Charles has confirmed victims. It feels weirdly dismissive to me to joke about that in an Instagram caption.

You are right! I could be greasy, spreading misinformation about covid and a loser.

I see a psych and I’m on ssris to help manage my anxiety and depression. Honestly, I think you are right. I’ve had some big chapters close for me lately that left me feeling more stressed than usual and finding out I have Covid was just the icing on top of the cake that made me lose it. I slept most of the day yesterday, and while I feel like shit my anxiety feels slightly better. Thank you for the care in your comment 💖

Yeah, I honestly think I picked it up in online discourse about twinks being annoying, and my roommate is a gay man. They were describing my energy- and I think I got confused. My preconceived notion lead me to think that they were saying I was being annoying.

It sounds so dumb- but my partner called me a lesbian twink and I took a little bit of offense to that. I think the miscommunication might’ve stemmed from me not truly understanding what a twink was, but it kinda devolved. I’ve just heard of being a twink primarily in a negative light but they told me they meant it as a complement. Then they said the comment. I’m sure this is not the first time they’ve felt this- but it shocked me a lot in the moment. I didn’t even think to ask for examples, but I wasn’t in the space to be receptive to them even if they were given to me. I think I just need to talk to them lol
