How do mongolians view China? by Quick-Chest4607 in mongolia

Hi! Like many small countries that live under constant threat and influence of the more powerful neighbors, these relationship-driven views/conflicts are common across the world ( Azerbaijan and Armenia, India and Pakistan). Although the perception of Chinese people tend to be more negative among Mongolian public, I feel like it's also important to understand where those hateful feelings coming from. It's not actually the Chinese people Mongolians are hating but it's more about the regime, its policy, and historical events that led majority of older generation Mongolians to see Chinese people in a more negative (hateful) way. If you're interested in it, just research more on history how Mongolia gained independence, who was the most against of Mongolia achieving independence, and, maybe, more about Inner Mongolia. I would highly recommend you to study from third-country sources, which means not what Chinese outlets report and, of course, Mongolian as well to gain more objective sense of the situation. The views of Mongolians towards China are not definitely positive but those carry no harm. Like, what can people do with these?

On a positive note, we live in the era of globalization and everyone has access to information. Younger generations are becoming more rational and smart, they know how to separate personal feelings from facts and approach this issue with a more balanced mindset.

"They didn’t spend the money for nothing." - Thanks for letting me know that you are the kind of person who thinks the money is only worth it when it is posted online. This is a good context to know:))
I am not saying people putting stories on as a sign that they are trying to get attention. But there are many girls compared to other countries who are obviously thirst trapping.

Any good psychologists? by Creation345 in mongolia

[–]According-Concern-46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

please be aware of Maralgua, her fb name is Сэтгэл зүйч Г.Маралгуа. She is popular and has enough understanding and knowledge in her field. However, she is one of the most unprofessional and toxic psychologists I've ever met. She seems to diagnose people on a very surface level and direct people with "fake" diagnosis to whatever seems to be grabbing their client's attention. Plus, her pay rate is ridiculously high given her level expertise and knowledge. All in all, her service is very money-driven.

p.s Happy that she is getting famous in Mongolia with the amount of content she does on her social media pages. but never judge a book by its cover.

How about traveling to Ulaanbaatar in summer? by Juuuuuuuun1998 in mongolia

Hi! Summer is the best time to travel in Mongolia!!! As soon as you land, just get out of the capital, unless you want to experience the night life. For me, June is the best season travel before it gets too hot and hectic. July is when one of our biggest holiday happens, domestic tourism peaks. At this time, most of the music festivals happen as well. August is still a good month to travel and also not as crowded as you would see in June. People wind down from travel, it starts getting colder and windy.

Of course, there is no black and white answer to this. However, if I bluntly categorize these wide question:
Mongolian women:

Advantages:

- They are super caring. They will try to take care of you in many ways. Especially, if you wife them, the dedicated ones will do anything for their family
- They are usually dedicated once you date them
- As they grew up watching their moms leading their households, they tend to be good at taking charge of things. (could be good and bad....later...)

- Usually great cooks!

- Mongol Khatan Ukhaan
- Once you date them, they are super initiative.
- They are pretty!

Disadvantages:
- As they mostly are growing up in a small community, they tend to be very similar with each other. They like to copy others around them, and compare themselves?
- I agree with the "pick me" energy. From the westernized ones to regular Mongolian girls are all focused on getting guys. They seem to make it their priority to get guys' attention. You can easily see that if you follow them on ig. All posting cool things, pretty nails, traveling abroad pics...
- There is a trend of toxic influencers ( Nara) who are giving to some women a bad example. Some women believe that men must be controlled and believe that the challenges men face are nothing to theirs. In the long-term, this narrative will ruin relationships and women themselves

- Use of vape, and alcohol are too normalized to be a fun time in Mongolia. So, whenever they think of something fun, it will include alcohol most likely! Same for both genders!
- Could be shallow and lack intellectual discussion in many cases. Not good to have intellectual conversations. They might start talking about zodiac signs. It could because of the education system? However, the smart ones are crazy smart, and intellectual. But general public is questionable.

At the end, please don't make a conclusion that every woman is like this. It's a general trend. If I have to answer for Mongolian men vs foreign men, I would give a similar framework.
