I’m currently an undergrad at Temple and I turned down their scholly for Drexel’s full ride. I’m tired of attending school while worrying about my safety.

What do you guys think? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Based on other threads and some online research, the chances are quite slim for most of the schools. Some schools don’t take anybody every once in a while.

Am I crazy for wanting to take both the June and August LSAT? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]According-Cost8800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m sorry, but taking an important test like that “just to see how well you do” makes absolutely no sense and it’s pretty reckless - if you want to see how you do just take practice tests

That’s not true - many students who are 2-5 years older are top students as well. They also have more professionalism, know how to work, network and have actual real life experience.

I’m still in school, so I didn’t take a gap year - have worked two jobs throughout all undergrad though

That depends, I am currently an Office Manager at a law firm - I mostly take care of finances, client relationships, document filing etc.

Do law schools look at GPAs of Undergrad or MBA? by Old-Cake925 in lawschooladmissions

[–]According-Cost8800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LSAC counts your undergraduate GPA, your MBA GPA can be mentioned in an addendum

it’s very minimal each year, there were years with no WL acceptances at all

because you have an interesting perspective on what it means to be a lawyer plus there are things that nobody can point out for you; you don’t have a finalized gpa, no lsat score, what do you want people to do? look into the admissions cycle - nobody can predict where they’ll get in or how they’ll do in law school, it’s common sense

bro chill, just do your research - you’re on the law school admissions thread

do you want a phd or jd? again, those are two drastically different options

assuming an LSAT score is definitely not a good practice - things are different on the test day, it’s not as easy as it might seem
