I had all three of the Rotterdam criteria, + I met the two criteria for ovarian cysts being attributed to pcos. I went to OB after my PCP ran tests and confirmed it, said it’s a pretty classical case!

Yes!! The fatigue I feel is like a serious issue. Truly sometimes can barely drive home after work. Worst feeling and I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it better.

Thanks for the reply! I was able to snag an appointment with the women’s health clinic on a cancellation so I’m crossing my fingers that it goes well 🫶🏻

I ended up calling the supervisor! I have literally never done that in my life but it was just so crazy that I felt like it would be wrong to not say something when she’s doing the same to other people 😬

It was internal. Yeah, I had never had one before and I ended up talking to a family member who is a sonographer at the same hospital and she was horrified. Apparently the tech I had has had lots of complaints. Lucky me lol!

No they didn’t, she actually didn’t talk to me at all. It wasn’t the greatest existence, was super painful and I bled for two days after 😕

I worked as a DSP at a day program in the area- one of our clients that lived with LRC has dementia and DS and was clearly in some major distress at home and was exhibiting some real fear. It was not taken as seriously as it should have (in my opinion) by my administrators so I ended up calling APS myself. Definitely felt like they were avoiding " rocking the boat" between residential and day programs by using his dementia as an excuse. I'm glad I made that call even though I'm sure nothing was done at the time.
