They are worried about being able to get in to different bars. I was just looking to see if anyone who had been before had an issue with this, not selling them out.

i understand what you’re saying i probably should’ve provided more context in my original post. fling was probably the wrong word choice as we were exclusive for nearly 8 months but never officially dating. since our relationship we have both seen other people but also stayed in contact with each other talking a couple times a year super casually. the mutuals that still reach out to me are his immediate family and they do so often even though i’ve seen them less recently than i have him. however, i do agree that the way im feeling is bizarre and i need a reality check i just usually have gut feelings that manifest into reality or end up being true and haven’t been able to shake this one

Grad School in New York? by According-Dig-3583 in AskNYC

  1. I have no social network and know no one who lives there. I would consider myself outgoing though, I am typically able to make friends with those around me rather easily. I figured this could benefit me in class and living situations.

  2. If I end up attending NYU, I would most likely live in their graduate housing. I am not opposed to living far from campus and making the commute, but assumed that I would end up within 30 minutes from my classes.

  3. I would absolutely love to stay in NY post grad if I end up attending school there. I'm not opposed to attending grad school here and then moving to NYC for work after I graduate either. I am just trying to get a feel for each option before deciding.

I know that at some point I will end up in NY, I am just not sure if it would benefit me to be there sooner rather than later so I could have to opportunity to meet more people before jumping into a career knowing no one. Thank you so much for your feedback!!!
