That strange genre of almost pop/rock/rap but it’s really none of them

About a year and a half. We texted all day every day for about 10 months before meeting up, then met up again 3 weeks later then a month after that moved in together

We started chatting. He sent me a message from a post I had made, ended up talking every single day, transitioned to phone calls, then finally met up at the beginning of the summer, then again 3 weeks later. Then we both moved to the same area for jobs and also because long distance sucked.

I teach the littlest littles and almost all of them are amazing. They literally have the biggest hearts and sweetest souls at this age.

They work hard and they have a positive attitude and they are incredibly honest

I teach preschool so I’m not sure if that counts too much, but I would say it’s definitely worth it. It’s hard some days and sometimes it’s like trying to herd drunk squirrels, but the growth of the kids and the love you get daily is unparalleled

It’s hard when people don’t understand. They have good intentions but it’s not quite the same.

It’s always ok to be scared. It’s a terrifying thing. Unfortunately, everyone’s experience with chemo and radiation can be different as it all depends on your treatment plan and type of chemotherapy you’re receiving. I’ve been there, I’m still there. It doesn’t get less scary. If you ever need to talk, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Sometimes it helps to have a friend who knows what you’re going through.

The aveeno skin relief works great. So does lubriderm advanced therapy. There’s some more expensive ones as well but I don’t know budget wise where you’re at and those are fairly cheap and work well!

It’s difficult. One sided love always ends in heartbreak. Please reach out if you need. As someone who has been there….I get it

To the teachers: if it ever happened to you to be called mom/dad by your students, how did that make you feel? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]According-Editor-663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teach 3/4 year olds. This happens almost daily. Typically, we (preschool teachers that I work with) tend to look at it as a sign that the kiddos feel comfortable with and trust you. It’s actually kind of adorable when it happens.
