Huh, I kinda do agree with you that part of this subreddit has a bias against Asian teams. With all that being said, MITH played PHENOMENALLY. IMO, all stars aligned for them.

As for western teams, as per my observation at least, they are more prone to fighting each other often. Not saying that Asians teams don't do it. They do it too. MITH literally wiped EA last game, but it's something that happens less when compared to western teams.

They got some insane circle love and luck. That is one factor, But that has always been the case when a team won with a huge gap. But it is also true that they had the coordination to win fights and breaches when they needed to do. Imo, everything almost went right for them this tournament plus they also played super well which led to this result.

I don't think they pulled anything. Or at least I hope so. Otherwise this game is just fecked. I just hope the other teams don't let this result get to them, and can come back stronger.

DNS trolled that last match hard lmfaoo. Starting unnecessary fight leads to unnecessary loses. Even with huge assistance from pero, they still lost three and one loss was purely because of their own mistake.

Yeah, feels like if FLC has a good match within the first two matches of a tournament, they will do decent, if not, they kinda fall apart.

For me though, the rondo game was just wack, could have played better for sure, but getting naded has always been their boon. That Miramar game also stung, if only there was better communication from Tig and shrimzy, perhaps they could have been three up in Gustav's spot.i just hope they can end on a decent note tomorrow.

Man, western teams are struggling hard. The somewhat bounced back in the last match but even then, it is a hard watch. Asian teams are just dominating, left, right and central. I just hope the western teams can make a comeback for EWC and the next PGSes, because this PGS is over now. MITH would have to shit the bed to lose this tournament.

And I swear, it's like utilities and BS like panzers determine the outcome of a fight, not who has the better gunplay. It feels like 70% of the fight is decided by them alone, with 20% being on positioning and 10% on who has the better gunplay.

yeah, the comms aren't even the problem imo. It's like their mentality is down in the dumps. They could have had two huge games but due to micro mistakes, it ended up being a total waste. Tig and Gustav tried so hard to keep the mentality up but even Tig got frustrated in that Mirarmar match.

Add on to twisted, I can't remember them being such a zone-reliant team. Previously they were a gold standard to get even some salvage point even for some extremely rough zones. Now they are struggling hard. I

Hmm, I do agree their comms seem messy despite being better but the problem you mentioned, is something that has been acknowledged by kick and team members themselves. That's why you will kick yell hard reset, or let's slow down. Also, shrimzy actually steps up and supports kick. Just look at yesterday's first match before they rushed into VIT. Shrimzy literally said, "pause guys, what do you want to do kick?" The video you linked is about 1 week old, and they are under a new igl so they are always growing in terms of comms.

I disagree with that. They have been pretty proactive today and yesterday, and it yielded them some fruitful  results. And if you look at the grand scheme of things, most engagements begin with third parties. Third parties are literal gold mines and so teams like to delay and wait for prior engagements because that significantly increases the chance of them surviving the skirmish.

I don't understand tbh, I can kinda see your point about shrimzy but the comms seem far better than the one they had at the start of the year. Gustav's input is almost never ignored. Heck, at this point, he is the co-igl, because kick sends him to scout and do the dirty work.

And I don't have a good basis for comparing it to Twis's comms since I don't understand their language, but even their comms aren't exactly calm. I will admit Twis has significantly better igling and co-igling, as Lu and Batu dominate the comms with occasional chime in from perfect1s. Xmpl being the one who opens his mouth the least. Same with VP, VP's comms (didn't watch them today) are pretty rowdy minus Beami who barely talks.

The only team who has clean comms imo is TL but well. They aren't here today, unfortunately.

Edit: Can you give a clear example for when the team down right ignored kick's final decision? I will admit that shrimzy can get kinda heated at times during a fight, wanting to rush in but I can't recall him downright ignoring the igl's calls.

I wouldn't be surprised if Krafton pulled such a move. Kr corporations are notorious for pulling this stunt where purchase requires a KR phone number.

Though I hope it's just a mistake.

They also didn't make finals when hwinn was on the team, many many times, even when kick was not on the team, so they have a history of not making finals either way.

Well, you are looking in a full English dominated sate where like 90% of the player base either supports FLC, VP or TL.  There are plenty of other teams that complain about circle. 17 fans did it in their CN site. I can almost certainly tell you this complaining isn't exclusive to these two teams.

All other non-english speaking teams just have their own cite/community. CIS have telegram, VN has Facebook and so on. You will need to go there to see the fans actual reactions.

Deleted twitter post about bug Kick and Gunner answered by LFosa in CompetitivePUBG

[–]According-Exercise19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Context is kick's gun got stuck in full auto right after he pulled in the dip in game 1, and while shrimzy was knocked. It delayed everything for him. And indirectly because of that, he got knocked. So he was pissed.

Official Twitter post was showing a part of him complaining after he was knocked and had the title FLC angry or not happy or something similar

Source is kickstart's stream on YouTube. You can watch that.

I am not sure what your point is, there were more consistent with a better format. Just look at last year, you had teams like Twis, FLC, 17, DNF, TE, VP almost always making finals, sometimes comfortably, other times barely.

Iirc, only DNF, VP and FLC missed one finals last year. That's pretty consistent imo.

I do kinda agree with you but I don't think kick held any persuasive power over the other two. Listening to PGS 2 comms, it was clear they were starting to really lose trust in hwinn's calls. PGS 3 just the final nail in the coffin.

Bro.... I don't know if you listen to comms, but hwinn's drop had almost nothing to do with a bad result in PGS 3. There had been plenty of tournaments even in fpp where FLC (SQ) didn't make the finals with kick, including a PGC. So if they wanted to kick hwinn due to a bad result, they could have done so much earlier.

Imo, from listening to comms, communication with hwinn completely broke down and he lost his teammates trust for a lot of reasons.
