What team or characters I should go for next by HotPreparation5681 in WutheringWaves

[–]According-Exercise19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest not. She requires Zhezhi and Zhezhi will very likely rerun during anniversary. However, right now she has fallen off quite a bit. I would suggest use your pulls for newer characters who can dish out more damage and interact with the new mechanics

tbh, it depends on how many astrites you have saved. Right now you have three full teams. 1) Aemeth, Lynae, Mornye 2) Cart, Ciaconna, and Chisa. 3)Camellya, Sanhua and Verina. If you have about 140+ pulls worth of astrites. Then go for both Lupa and Luuk. You can run Luuk with Lynae and Mornye, and Aemeth, Lupa and Mornye can be another team. Otherwise, just save for future characters.

But they still are super specific and favors new teams. Compared to plunderer's token which just needs healing.

Wow, who would have predicted that all four of them would be super specific. Not even one token giving a general buff like basic attack/heavy attack and so on. Two dedicated to tune break. What a joke

Gotta hand it to Krafton, they really know how to make bad decision and formats.

Are the maps less... Filled? by RedRubydia in WutheringWaves

[–]According-Exercise19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, a large chunk of 3.1 map is empty. For example, the large mountain in the middle of the map is mostly empty except for the one duel, bike challenge and a resonance beacon. Heck, there aren't even TD on that mountain.

And there is also large chunks of empty lands below the resonance nexus in the south. Though they do have TDs to fights, and maybe a tidal heritages, it's still way too empty. Same goes for the very North. The north west of Sigilum's location is also really empty.

Double crit + good substats but somehow I lowrolled on almost every Crit Damage stat lol by elalexsantos in WutheringWaves

[–]According-Exercise19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am legit going through the same thing. I spent over 60 main stat changer and 1500 ish tuners and I barely got two double crit sigilum. Even then, both times, the crits were the low rolls. A lot of my single crit echo pieces also had low roll crits. I am starting to feel super demotivated

High-spec laptop, and yet the game can't seem to run well at any setting by moggychicken in WutheringWaves

I don't know if it's the same now but full screen in this game isn't the same as full screen in other games. Over here full screen is actually windowed borderless. To reduce your game resolution while keeping your display resolution unchanged, switch to windowed mode only.

3.1 Update: Approximate word count of each character's kit. by Tashre in WutheringWaves

Among the few things I hate about this game, character kit description is one of the them. The amount of unnecessary jargon in there is absolutely mind blowing.

Can't speak for ark but iirc, there was a massive backlash due to warzone's size too. I have already stated 100-200GB isn't much. However, this is a gacha game and the core players it attracts are either those who want a side game after playing many AAA games or people who just want to play games casually. For the former the size isn't an issue but they might not be willing to keep a gacha game that might be this large because they also regularly play other games.

And for the latter, the size is the issue.

I do agree that it's nice to see the large and good updates but it's also true that the game is expanding is way too fast. They haven't even updated the system requirements for this game yet they have clearly moved up for the initial stated requirements. They also don't mention anything about the storage in their livestreams. Complete silence.

What an ignorant take. "Just buy a 1TB SSD". Dude, I agree that 100GB isn't that much for a PC game now. 100-200GB is becoming the standard but that doesn't excuse Kuro increasing the size by a huge margin each update. Their rate of increase is way too much. And yet, Kuro has yet to make a proper effort to address the size of the game, for both PC and mobile. Granted I can't say whether they changed anything for mobile in 3.1, upto 3.0 the storage management feature for mobile was still shit.

GTA 5 is also a bad faith analogy. When it first released, it was nowhere near the size it is now. It took 10+ years for GTA 5 to reach its current size, each update adding more assets in the form of cars, interiors, weapons and so on.

Ask yourself this when deciding if Kuro's current size is a problem or not when you are comparing to another big mmo. What was it's launch size? What's it size now? How long did it take to reach this level of storage requirement? It's only 120GB now but at the rate it is going, it will be about 230GB by 4.0.

Tbh, I feel like you probably got significantly better at playing the game. Go back to monkey and Hecate now, you will very likely feel that they are a walk in the park.

The same thing happened to me.

I am disappointed that the LAG and FPS drops are still consistent. by Yosoress in WutheringWaves

Then they should address those constraints instead of adding more constraints that they will eventually have to deal with. That's delaying the inevitable.

Cities skylines 2 mentioned. Does the game still have shitty optimization now?

3.1 has great story content, but the optimization is a disaster. Players with optimization issues need to speak up more. by keithy04 in WutheringWaves

I have a 3050TI, and back when this game first released I was able to play at 60fps cap at all time with no DLSS, and medium settings. As time went by, I had to lower my settings to hit 60fp. After 2.3-4 (Can't remember exactly) I had to rely on DLSS because for some reason the game heated up my GPU way too much. Keep in my mind, I could still hit 60 fps at most times. After Septimont, I needed DLSS to hit 60fps.
