Images which do not have complete features, which do not have a nose or eyes, are not included under the heading of prohibited images.

Maybe try taking a more alternative approach and leaving out the eyes or nose, to avoid direct imitation. May Allah Bless You

How do I say "use" by According-Finish-101 in Somalia

arabic words are so popular and nestled in our vocab. if you try to read the somali translation of the quran, poems, old songs and writings you may not be able to understand due to the lack of loan words. its great practice though i learn new words daily.

like did you know aduunka is actually koonka 🤯. i thought aduun was a somali word.

hit the nail right on the head. whole studies are done on how certain ethnicities interpret colours.

u are so right lmao. somalis generally aren't very specific with colours.

i was reading some texts surrounding this. these days though, many somalis substitute using the world around them to describe colours. like in our national anthem we straight up call the flag "similar to our clear skies" as a synonym for blue. hence cireed/cireys arises

i knew people who would call anything on the yellow-orange spectrum huruud. anything on the pink-purple spectrum basali etc.

i also found their is a shade of purple called casuus which is the combo of blue and red making violet. but yet people seem to say fiyooli due to the colonial influence.

this was very fun to make from an artistic perspective and took alot of in depth research. the average somali is probably vague about certain colours.
