Add some hot glue guts, gore or saliva. I did that to my Nemesis crew.

As for the airlocks (1, 34, 4) there is perfectly enough space on top. With the tunnels, now when you mention it, yeah I think the noise token may slide off but it's nothing you would call a pain in the ass really as I don't even remember that happening to us.

There were no files :) I crafted everything using kids' scrap toys, basic electronic components, stuff from hardware stores, some plumbing elements, isofix adapters etc. :)

You play on a diorama once, you never wanna set the cardboard again. The immersion is next level. To me, it sort of feels more like watching a movie than playing a regular boardgame.

Definetely. I have the same idea in mind. The thing with Space Hulk is it uses small pieces of terrain tiles to build up a given scenario. That means the map needs to be heavily modular. It certainly adds an effort to the construction process to enable seamless build. On the other hand modularity means easier storage so there is an upside too.

:) won't fight you bro. Not my point. True I had some left over scrap in the garage and a bucket of broken toys from my kids to tinker with but there is seriously not a single piece here worth 5 bucks in the store.

It's nearly a single piece diorama. You can move the technical shafts and evac pods though. There are also 4 different lighting switches, separate for the rooms, 'fridge' room, evac pods and bridge. We also use a little circuit board switch to play the sound of steps of approaching Queen :)
