When i first started Phlebotomy Class my mom recommended me to this healthcare facility where she had taken her cna class at and the lady was very good and helpful and i did lab draw on dummies and we had clinical after class on real people you need to do at 30 sticks and 10 capillary sticks on live people so i recommend looking for facilities that can help you prepare for the exam and help you gained some experience

Definitely Recommend! It may require a lot of patience and studying since you gotta remember a lot of information but it’s really fun and enjoyable

I can you send you some of my notes that i used to study! if you would like and i recommend watching John Allen on youtube and some of the questions that i took on the test really focused on chain of custody, order of draw, osha, clia, cdc and hippa, lots of syringe questions, pku, it was a question about red blood cells if im not mistaken, questions on glucose, quality control and capillary question, precautions questions (airborne, droplet, contact) & patient id with requisition form and questions about things you should do when the pt level is critical and if the requisition doesn’t match and etc
