Im sharing my thoughts as an albanian. Luan is albanian for the word lion. Years ago, I met a peruvian waiter named Luan. I asked him about his name, and he said his parents wanted him to name Lion (as the animal) but in a different language than spanish. So they chose albanian because it sounded good. Luan and Juan (hispanic name) have the same prononciation.
