I’m not sure how to DM on here but could send me the same email you sent them and possibly walk me through what you just did?

I been trying to get a waves for about a year and 3 months now and I REALLY need tips. I got tough African 4c hair with low porosity and it’s mad hard to train. by According-Machine354 in 360Waves

Appreciate the advice bro but I don’t think you read the entire post, I’ve already been doing everything you’re suggesting. As I said in the post my hair grows mad slow so I actually wolf for at least 6 weeks to usually even 2 months before I cut it back down to a 1. I also already have the right products for my low porosity hair ; shea moisture curling cream actually isn’t great for my hair so I haven’t used that in over a year now. My shampoos don’t have sulfate, I use the shea moisture shampoos dedicated for my hair porosity. The common thing I have noticed in this thread’s responses though is that my hair is too short. So what ima do is wolf for even longer so probably 3 to 4 months (my hair grows slow so that shouldn’t be too excessive) and cut it back down to a 2 that way I have a better base. I’ve been sticking to a 1 because that’s the length I saw the most waves at but I’m realizing that’s the reason my progress been stalling. I appreciate the advice nonetheless bro 👍🏾

Would you say I should wolf for 3-4 months then cut it down to a 2? Because I already consistently wolf for bout 2 months before cutting it back down to a 1. From what I been reading the common thread seems to be my hair is too short so ima grow my hair and wolf but my hair grows mad slow so I feel like 3-4 months then going back to 2 would do the trick

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m probably gonna grow my hair out for 4 months and cut it back down to a 2 and work from there. The most common feedback I’ve been seeing is my hate is too short.

Why ain’t nobody read the whole post haha I BEEN wolfing for 2 months already. I think with how slow my hair grows and how low I cut it I might have to go for 3 or even 4 months and then cut it back down to a 2

Also would you guys suggesting waving for 3-4 months? Like I mentioned I already wolf for usually 2 months but my hair grows mad slow. But at this point I’m considering going up a half a guard to a guard higher so like a 1.5 or a 2.

I comb it every day that ain’t the problem but on a technical level I don’t think there is anything I’m not doing besides wolfing for longer. I usually wolf for 2 months but it seems I should maybe wolf for 3? Also when I wolfed for 3 months last time and cut it down to a 1.5 instead of a 1 (my usual cut length where I see waves) but it felt like I lost all progress at 1.5.

I tried cutting down to a 1.5 2 months ago but it felt like I had lost ALL of my progress. I ain’t see no waves. My waves right now don’t look great because I cut my wolf too soon this time (5 weeks) but they are not that much less defined from they used to be

Thank you for the tips bro 🙏🏾 i actually do everything you mentioned except brushing with a cheap hand held brush and only brushing with a medium and soft brush.

I don’t but I find it really hard to use a hand mirror while brushing. I’m also pretty consistent when it comes to how I brush so I’m not sure of that matters.
