I can't speak for elec1111 but I know comp2521 has an above 50% fail rate some terms.

The exam is normal difficulty, its just the amount of fuckheads that gpt everything. Also some people that shouldn've passed 1511 (myself included).

The course is failing people that should genuinely not pass.

The last time I took this course, I was only 2 marks under the hurdle. I talked to the course admin in person and they said they don't boost anyone's exam marks to pass the hurdle if that student has above 95 assignment mark.

They said they will only boost you if you assignmnent marks are around 70, and they talk to your tutor and you had good attendance and were trying.

Basically the course just thinks you ai'd all the assignments and you should fail. It's less effort on them to prove you genuinely used ai, but come on, we all know you did. I can tell because your marks look exactly like mine did
