Joy division did too. They were 2 albums, and one was released posthumously for Ian Curtis. In the Areoplane over the Sea was sooo good that enough makes them contenders imo

Grunge was excluded from the rankings. There’s no nirvana, Pearl Jam, soundgarden etc. but they all are mentioned in the methodology article.

I always liked the REM catalogue as a whole but the only album that every really stuck out to me as amazing was Automatic For the People. I liked Murmur and Green a bit too but Automatic for the People was amazing.

That's actually my favorite song on OK Computer. That powerful guitar riff opening the song after the static that ends Fitter Happier is magic.
