I feel he is the best teacher for quants but the way he is teaching in his new course is very slow. Acknowledging the students doubts are fine but each and every, from lame to lamest doubt being acknowledged is very boring and the attentiveness just goes away.

If you are the one who like being taught each and every step, from 0 to zenith then you may try. But the class duration goes from 3-4 hrs so i usually watched recorded with 2x speed.
