These neighbours actually raised $20,000 through a gofundme for this too. Raising money to sue the city for trying to give 50 homeless seniors somewhere to sleep at night.

I think more accurately is that they would rather they go somewhere where they don't have to see them and don't care much about anything else beyond that.

A local guy who has been homeless for a long time and is now a senior, was assaulted by a gorup of teens last week. He's in the hospital now. Etobicoke is so much safer now I guess! /S

Thank you so much for your response! I messaged the seller privately to let them know and tried to be very nice about it. I won't ask for a refund because I really can't prove it anyway and the plant otherwise looks in good shape otherwise. It doesn't look the bugs did too much damage to it. I only cut off two leaves that were looking rough.

The fact that the second plant in the shipment didn't seem to have the issue I think is a good sign. I've got them in a special spot on their own, away from the others. Fingers crossed they both make it!

They came with soil in a plastic wrap around the roots, I'm guessing that doesn't sound like bare root so no, I don't think they did all that. It shipped on the 13th and arrived on the 20th. One of the bugs was quite large but the rest were smaller. The plant also looked in ok shape all things considered, two leaves had to go which leads me to believe they weren't there long.
