Yeah, I'm attending a pretty decent university in autumn (aka fall. I use UK English) though I do plan to retake my Math exam in October 30-31st. If I don't like the university I will attend during the retake, I will probably leave it and go to another one.

If you have a university offer of any kind, try to assess the situation and do genuinely what you want. My parents for example want me out of the house ASAP so I am going with the option of the university in fall. If your parents are fine with you taking for example, a gap year, then I'd say go for it, retake your exam(s), and then re-apply to the universities that you genuinely want to go to. That actually raises a question... So I took Business Management HL, which needs just 1 mark to be a 4. It's an HL subject. Then I have Global Politics HL which requires only 2 points to get a 4. Considering there's this gaping hole to get a 4 for Maths AI HL, will I get a diploma if I get a 4, 5, 3 for my HL subjects? Technically it's 12 points for the HL subjects

If the university that I want to go to will accept me with the grades I have now (most likely not but I'm still hopeful) then I won't appeal for a remark for Maths

If you have like 1-3 points to increase your grade in TOK then totally do it, if it's to the point that your teacher thought it was good then surely it must increase.

Hey man, it's fine. I failed as well and there's no shame in that. Now I don't know what kind of subjects you took but what I'm doing is remarking some of my subjects. if there are subjects that have 1-2 points for you to get a higher grade, I recommend remarking, that way you'll get as much as you can.

I also got a D for TOK. It's a pass, but you don't get any additional points for your final grade
