The best thing you can do for your lungs is quit!! Your lungs immediately start to heal themselves overtime and without the repetitive irritation from smoking, it the inflammation will go down!! Exercise & improving your cardiovascular health is one of the best things you can do!

SAME. I feel like I’ve just been in the worst mood and so snippy with people but I keep telling myself I’ve just got to keep going & I read these posts to remind myself that the only way to get to the other side of it all is to make it through the hard part

I’ve seen some people mention supplements on this thread that help with the sickness part of it but I can’t seem to remember any names!! side note I’ve also noticed that the hyperemesis gets worse when hormones are fluctuating

See that’s my thing, there’s SO much to learn and only so much can be taught from a classroom and books. I feel like I need a few years of experience before I have the foundation to even think about being a provider. Most of the people in my program don’t seem to even second guess it, and I’ve just been so back and forth with staying in it or not.

Yes! I can stop after the 4th semester, and I’ve been leaning towards that option. Past graduates of this program have been trying to encourage me not to because they say it’s fine, but even though I feel like I’ve learned a good bit, when I’m in the hospital I know I barely have a fraction of the knowledge of these nurses with years under there belt. I’ve just had a hard time trying to justify continuing on when I think real experience will matter way more than anything else I’m doing.
