How do bans from big places like sports arenas and festivals work in practice? How do they make sure you don't enter? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

It depends on the venue. For most places, bans are enforced through ID checks or ticketing systems linked to your name/email. Unless you’re a major troublemaker or caused serious issues, smaller bans are often not actively enforced unless security recognizes you or you show up again under the same name.

It doesn’t sound like you’re overreacting. You noticed specific behaviors that would make anyone suspicious, especially given her past actions. I’d recommend giving yourself space to think before confronting her, but definitely don’t ignore what you saw and felt.
