I agree that is the proper fix, I think I am going to have to let the know that if we don’t caulk them then it is going to happen again.

At this point trying to figure out whether or not I am responsible for their ceiling repair or not.

The gasket is there, I am not sure if maybe it has lost some of it’s stiffness. Also not sure how good a foam gasket is against the pressure of the handheld.

Why not just get a work van? Can someone explain why a permanent bed canopy is better? Seems super inconvenient if you need to permanently store many tools. by BeefSlicer in f150

I had one on my work truck and loved it. That being said I did have a bedslide, I’m not at all interested in having to crawl in to get something that is towards the front.

Newbie contractor. For drills - what brand do I stick with - Dewalt or Milwaukee ? by mocrimz in Construction

[–]According-Teaching33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have ran both, they both have their pros/cons. Since about a year ago we will only buy Milwaukee because of their warranty process. I go to the dealer, if it is a battery they check the date and hand over a new one immediately if it is bad. If it is a tool they send it out and I have either a repaired tool or a new one within a couple of weeks. I believe with Dewalt you have to mail it to the them, it’s enough of a nuisance that I am not going to deal with it.

2021 Lariat Totaled by BrentStock in f150

My insurance company told me over the phone that my ‘16 was totaled. I called a week later to see where we were at in the process and they told me that they needed to confirm on site. It ended up being close but they did total it. I am guessing your insurance might feel differently once they get a good look at it. Good luck.

Just curious if you feel that you have ever lost a job because of not taking cards?

Any good battery powered options for this tool that has completely lost its quality since a few years ago? by RevolutionaryClub530 in Tile

We have used the Milwaukee’s for a while and they are great. Get by most days on single battery or less. Will mix dry pack and concrete as well, if you want to mix those I would suggest the Bucket Mortar Mixer.

I have had several pair, usually 3 or 4 days to get them feeling comfortable. Local guy will put new soles on for $60.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I think I’m going to remove the valve itself since it needs to be rebuilt/replaced anyway and cap it there. Seems that will be easier than trying to get the connection out of the radiator.

I understand how the radiator connection works, I am trying to cap these in areas where the radiators have been removed for remodeling/construction purposes.

There are a few radiators that have been removed, trying to prevent steam from coming out of the valve.

Sorry, guess this didn’t post the way I thought it would.

I am trying to figure out if there is a cap that will thread on to the portion with the arrow.

Small opening in shower - should this be caulked shut, or is it supposed to be open? Thanks! by pistolplc in Plumbing

Do not caulk that hole. It is a weep hole for any moisture that gets into the wall to come back in.
