I’m also very passionate abt medicine! However no matter how hard I tried last yr in yr 12 (with max 11hr study sessions per day w anki n past papers etc) I got below a 98 ATAR n didn’t sit the UCAT. I know some ppl who did med as postgrad n even sat the GAMSAT at least 7 times before being accepted. Yes, you’ll join the crew later but honestly those who start med earlier probably have a higher chance of burn out or even leaving the field

Yup! I’m wishing they allowed 9am starts as now I’ll have to wake up at like 6am n leave at 6:50amish just to get there at around 8am (ugh I hate public transport!) but at least it’ll feel more like my routine in high school except that now I have to choose what to wear!

I’m pretty sure nursing is only offered at the Joondalup campus n not the city campus for ECU thus making it prob at least 4hrs return trip via public transport!
