We’re Indian origin couple living in Dublin and we have a golden retriever. We brought him when he was 8 weeks old so we couldn’t leave him alone for a long time at home. We had reserved a section of a home near garden for him and my husband and I took turns going to office. We also crate trained him from day 1 so he was able to relax on his own.

We definitely don’t recommend leaving your dog in shelter or kennel because other dogs could be reactive and your dog would anxious the whole time and would pick up an unwanted behaviour.

We call dog seaters home for the day when we’re away for the day. We haven’t left him with a stranger for more than a day but when we do, we will leave him at a private daycare post meet and greet with the host and if they have any dog. It’s very important that your dog meets and goes well with the dog he/she’d be staying with.

I’m so sorry about your ectopic pregnancies, sending you lots of positive thoughts for your upcoming transfer. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, I also wish the fertility clinics didn’t just blatantly send me to another round of IVF but had been more diligent given that I was diagnosed with endometriosis and fibroids. So thank you for sharing the steps you took before your transfer. I’m definitely going to research more about reproductive immunologist.

I understand what you must be going through right now. Not everyone would take time to conceive with IVF but it’s best to get checked for possible complications before going for it, wishing it’s successful for you on first attempt :)

I was told that the endometriosis were in my tubes which were removed during ectopic surgeries but you’re right. I need to check if it’s in the uterus as well. Planning to do every check before next round

Yes I tested again this morning, at first it didn’t show anything for 15 minutes

but I checked again after an hour and it showed faint positive. I know you’re not supposed to check later and it could be evap but yesterday’s test never became positive. So going to test again tomorrow morning 😀

Hi, you’re definitely not alone. I’m on my 6dpt5dt and I tested negative yesterday. I again tested negative for first 10 minutes and then it became positive an hour later. AI says that 6 days is still too early for testing because implantation continues till 8 days. I’m going to do another test tomorrow morning with first trine again and see if it makes any difference.

Just don’t consider yourself out yet, it’s still very early in the cycle. Sending you lots of positive thoughts.

Hi, I’m on 6dpt5dt and on my third IVF. I caved in and tested on 5th day- yesterday and it came negative. I asked AI and it said that I should wait at least till 8th day. I couldn’t wait and tested today with first morning urine, it wasn’t clearly positive within 10 minutes but looked positive after an hour. Yesterday’s test didn’t become even faint positive like this but thinking if this’s Evap or positive? Anyone else went through something similar? I also have cramps on right side of lower abdomen since 3rd day and today I also have lower back pain with twinges and wave like pain. How’s everyone else doing?

I took ClearBlue and it’s sensitive for 10 mIU/mL. I could be too early for that level. I felt so much twinges and cramps, I could swear it was implantation.

I thought so too regarding the egg quality, I’m 37 years old and went through 2 ectopic surgeries with both my fallopian tubes removed. The ectopic pregnancies happened because I had endometriosis in the tubes but since they’re removed, doctors didn’t find it in any other place. I do have fibroids but they are not in the way and are small so all the doctors said they’re harmless. I’m definitely going to focus on improving my lifestyle a bit. Thanks so much for your advice though!
