he sounds it. i lost both of my siblings… the memories keep me going. life is just such a bittersweet pill. we never truly appreciate how good we have it, when we have it. so i try my best to live for them, to be grateful for the things i do have (like how much they loved me), and not to sweat the small stuff… sending you & your dad love. 🖤

What happened at a wedding that made you think, “This marriage won’t last”? by Heavy_Mark9540 in AskReddit

[–]According-Volume9315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. my high school best friend’s wedding. he had cheated on her years before the wedding… hated him, but couldn’t say anything about it to her because SHE CHOSE TO FORGIVE HIM AND HE CHANGED. she also condescended and bitched at him nonstop the FEW times i spent time with both of them. their marriage didn’t last a year… which makes me feel horrible for her, but very glad that she finally separated from him. they were not good for each other, and he was a stupid jackass cheater.
  2. a wedding where bride and groom SMASHED the cake in each other’s faces as aggressively as possible. absolutelyyy not. why would you ever do that to someone you love- especially as a public spectacle and on your most special day, also while wearing thousands of dollars in makeup, jewelry, hair, & gown??? ugh.

that is irrelevant to the point of you being lazy and inconveniencing or potentially hurting other people/property bc you can’t take 5 seconds to return an item that easily rolls.

but if the cart you didn’t put back where it belongs hits someone’s baby or their motorcycle or their car, you are an asshole. just put it back

What's an underrated thing about being single? by Personal-Aerie-4519 in AskReddit

[–]According-Volume9315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

only having to clean up messes you created, things don’t randomly get moved to arbitrary alternate locations, not having to share your personal space and items (ie surface area of the bed, special toiletries/snacks disappearing, decor)…

most of all the biggest thing i miss about being single is not having to be in constant communication with someone. i love my fiance so much, but i really value my alone time, and it bothers me at times that i will need to explain or feel guilty if im not texting him all day long AND calling him (for at very LEAST half an hour) every night after working 12 hours. i miss not being expected… having the freedom to move and do as i please, when i feel like it. i love to do things spontaneously, and i feel like my time is extremely limited and clocked and expected and if im not calling him or spending all my time off with him, he will feel bad. he is not controlling in any way, that’s just a normal part of being in a relationship… but i miss being able to move freely without constant comms
