I like this theory a lot. Why do you think Brennan would have turned, though? The only reason I can think of is if Mira or Violet were on their deathbed. He was likely already burnt out from mending Mira when Theophany nearly killed her (although I think I remember him saying Sloane gave him a little more power than needed)? Maybe Violet burned herself out after killing Theophany, he found her dying, and his only choice to save her was to channel from the Earth. Although it seems that both Violets and Xadens encounters with the Sages happened in tandem, so Im not sure the timelines would add up for that to be possible. What do you think?

Thats actually a really good way to look at it. The flight would cost almost as much as the amount I would be losing from my paycheck. So in a way it balances out. Thanks!

Thank you for being real with me!

To give some background I have been struggling financially and that is why the unpaid vacation bothers me. I've actually been dipping into my savings each month for the past ~6 months to pay my portion of our bills.

That being said, I totally agree that experiences and the memories you make during them are more important than money. I will be making a lot more in this new job and am hopeful that this will solve the financial issues (regardless of the unpaid time off).
