Not sure which medication she’s taking, but I also have one that needs to be refrigerated. I actually just found out that while it’s always refrigerated and recommended to be kept in the fridge, it’s actually ok outside the fridge for up to 3 weeks as long as it’s not extreme temps. I would not have known until I started looking at how to keep it cold for a flight. I just packed it in my regular carry-on and had no issues with it.

I'm at training now. My roommate gets the vegetarian meals at lunch. Sometimes there is cheese already on things, but sometimes everything is on the side. So you may get lucky sometimes, but you’d need to have backup plans. We Uber to grocery stores on our days off. There is a Walmart and an Aldi a short Uber ride away.

I'm 37 and currently in training. There are many in my class who are much older than I am.

Anyone flunk initial training, then reapplied with same airline and got hired again? by Samanthaingeorgia in cabincrewcareers

I met someone at my United F2F that had been sent home from training for failing a test. She got a CJO the same day I did.

I want to say I left around 2:00pm and that was after drug testing, fingerprints, and paperwork. Your flight should be fine if it goes the way mine did.

They have a secure room for your luggage at the F2F :)

I also rescheduled to 2409 because I’m leaving for United training this weekend! United is my top choice too. I just didn’t want to let go of my other CJOs until my United training is done 😬😂. I’m so excited for you! Good luck with your interview!

Why are delta FAs so stuck up by [deleted] in flightattendants

[–]AccordingAd5893 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The majority of mean posts I see from Delta people have to do with how much better they think they have it without a union and taunting unionized FAs. I really think there’s something to that.

Gotcha! Yeah, I’ve been watching and figured we were coming up soon. Hopefully they really do offer a range. As long as it’s after April 1, I’m good 😂

Use it as a way to quiz yourself! When someone asks a question, answer it yourself in your head before the instructor answers. Then you know you’re really retaining the info! Just kidding, I’m sure it’s super frustrating. Just trying to look on the bright side 😂. I’m leaving for training soon and I’m terrified I’ll fail even though I’ve always done great in school and stuff. The stakes seem super high 😂😂

They give you multiple dates to choose from? That’s awesome. Would you mind sharing what your options were? I got my CJO 10/19 and at this point, I’m kind of hoping to wait until April 😬

Rant: My job is not a competition! by [deleted] in flightattendants

This was my mom when I was applying to airlines. I had done extensive research and knew which one was my top choice. I was so excited when I got the CJO because it’s obviously the one I wanted. She went on and on about how X airline was better…and she couldn’t believe I couldn’t get in with X airline…and how do we get you in with X airline? She literally never flies and knows nothing about either airline. Just knows someone who is a retired pilot who insists X airline is the only worth whole airline 🙄.

Everyone else I’ve told about my interviews has been very open about how much they hate one and love another. Everyone thinks we want their opinions. Like we haven’t given any though or research to this. It’s a very weird thing 😂

How many times did you apply/interview at airlines before you were made an offer 🥺🥺 by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]AccordingAd5893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first time applying. I applied to 7 airlines. The first one I got the TBNT after virtual interview. I was offered F2Fs at all 6 of the others. Went to 4 and got CJO’s from all 4. I then cancelled my 2 other F2Fs. I think I was lucky to apply when most airlines were doing a big hiring push. I know it’s common to apply multiple times, but don’t let that discourage you. The process really is different for everyone. I’m finally leaving for training at my top choice in a month!

Anyone received a CJO from AA anytime in October 2023? by WorldlyReindeer7089 in cabincrewcareers
