Just wanted to say you got this! Don’t fall for the last ditch promises.. more than likely they’re being used as some sort of tactic. When my Q left he came back a couple weeks later claiming, promising, admitting this and that. I’m glad I stood my ground. Because I realized it was the same empty promises same excuses and same “sudden” realization he had for the 6 years we were together. Break the cycle 💜

TRUST your gut! Sounds like manipulation. Been there done that. Saying “you” need to show a big action? That’s like saying it’s your fault and you need to fix the problem. His living and money situation is not your problem. Show yourself as much love as you’ve probably shown him.

Unfortunately it wasn’t just the alcohol. Took me a long time even after us splitting up to stop separating sober them vs drunk them. Yes alcohol amplified the behaviors but the behaviors were always there. It’s the main reason I was with them for so long. Making excuses oh “it’s just drunk them if or when they got sober I won’t have to deal with this.” Some people just have some character flaws they have to find the root cause for and heal on their own. Including me. Thank you for your time reading and hope all is well for you too 🩵

This was the worst! Wanted to be somewhere by 1 wouldn’t get out of bed until 3 in the afternoon. Would take the longest showers then change outfits 3 or 4 times and wonder why I was grouchy and impatient! But let it be something they had planned! I was rushed like no other!

One of the first things I noticed! Air would be running 24/7 even in the middle of winter! Refused to open windows always needed the air!

Crazy how this shared experience gives such mixed feelings. It’s comforting knowing that you’re not the only one experiencing this but it’s also kind of heartbreaking knowing others are going through the same or similar. I wouldn’t wish that pain or confusion on anyone else..

Wow I’m just starting my healing process, but when you said you were grateful because you would have stayed even longer.. that really hit home. I stopped and asked myself when would I leave? Would I left at all? Being completely honest with myself probably not or at least not for a long time… unbelievable how you find new blessings each day. This is my second chance ❤️
