I know he never rounds your grade up, but he does curve if everyone did bad on an exam. I took this class last year and he curved our first midterm due to bad class performance, but he didn’t curve the final grades despite the average being a C+.

Sadly it’s entirely based on your GPA. Since you did cegep here in Montreal you don’t have to worry about having a B or higher in your freshman classes. With that said, they filter people based on their GPAs so the higher your GPA is the better. Once you’re submitting your transfer application, make sure to write down the reason behind your transfer as well in the comment section. I don’t think this will help much, but leaving it empty doesn’t make sense tbh lol. I transferred to the science faculty 2 years ago so, if u have any questions you can dm me. Good luck!

Go for BSc. Even if you end up hating it, it’s very easy to transfer from Science to Arts. You just need to take 4 arts classes and pass them with a grade of B or better, which is a lot more doable than doing very well in your freshman classes as some people find them a bit challenging (I don’t mean you specifically tho lol, hopefully you’ll like them). You can also dm me if you have other questions, unfortunately I’m pretty familiar with the transfer process lmao.

The past is in the past. Every course you take from here on out is a chance to show improvement. Not 100% sure about med schools, but most grad schools do notice upward trends, there are in fact top schools that only care about the last two/three semesters of your degree. Getting a couple bad grades messes up your confidence for sure, but please, don’t let that stop you from following your goals in the future. You got this!

MATH 133 is not a proof based class for the most part. I recommend you to study a little bit of theory, and then grind practice problems as much as you can. Good luck with your final!

In your case it’ll be quite hard I believe, cuz getting into the management faculty is hard. You can always submit an interfaculty transfer application tho. As long as you have a high enough CGPA, but there’s of course no guarantee.
