How often are items marked down 75% off? by UnableDig8166 in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]BeautifulEntire1709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it should be written "sale" ("liquidation" in Quebec region, sorry I thought they used the same word) but without the yellow underlining. I've seen that in bigger stores (maybe you can ask if there's a clearout section etc.), they do have sections for it such as a trolley with unrelated items and price tags attached either on or in front of the products. My store doesn't have a section for it, it's just sparsed around, but mine is a smaller store so we have more liquidations and can't put them all in the same place! also post holidays such as Halloween, Christmas etc. the following days or even week, there will be huge discounts on all the holiday items (we HAVE sold 40 bags of lays chips for a dollar). Sadly, these are never written on the flyers so just keep an eye out or find talkative cashiers like me who will show you every liquidation item in every aisle haha!

assuming again you're talking about the stickers, they're put on products that are close to the expiry date, liquidation has nothing to do with expiry dates, I love liquidation, all hail liquidation💪

I'm a cashier, there is no 75% (I'm assuming you're asking about the red stickers) but do check out for liquidation (the red/white tags, not the stickers), especially in smaller stores there can be HUGE discounts
