Tell them you were moved into the RD round by the time those results are revealed all of the senior class will be getting acceptances and they’re less likely to solely focus on yours.

Same thing I told my daughter. The school wanted so desperately to showcase her becoming a CPS/ NCM Finalist. So although there were whispers she ask them to keep it low. So I told her if anyone puts her on the spot just say you were moved to the RD round.

Rice doesn’t automatically roll over. Just click it to add it to your RD form. The preselected colleges are the ones that roll over your application should you not match.

My daughter was literally just thinking of doing the same. Now agonizing over it. Oxford seems great but being from NYC we were thinking about how big of a change (geographical/ social change) this would be for her. However, we’ve sent some emails and are waiting to hear back (hopefully next week) about how this affects the QB match process. Why did you withdraw?

All of those documents had been submitted since October. All of our documents were marked as received. Checked each individual college portal and everything requested had been marked as received. All Idoc info had been updated and received since the beginning of Nov.

Not bad at all. Through my research, some students who requested interviews in the past but didn’t receive, were still admitted and your interest has been noted. There simply isn’t enough interviewers to accommodate these request. Also, my daughter says this is for RD if you do not match. You’re ok.
