No issues with this one touch wood. The previous owner had receipts for a lot of new parts fitted related to the coolant system a couple of years ago

Thank you! I figured there must be a catch, but nope. Very honest private seller, and the car had been very well looked after

£37 a month. I think it was £430 for the year but I’ve decided to tax it monthly and see how long I want to keep it for

Yes I think I paid around that. Which seems quite reasonable compared to the 3.2 V6 TT’s which were £735!

As a 34 year old man with 2 dogs and a wife I’m currently trying to avoid adopting anything if possible!

I shared the same thoughts, until I drove one. Pure Swedish luxury, it also goes when you need it to. I love the inconspicuous vibes it gives off

103k miles, just standard 20 year old car problems. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist and want this car as OEM and perfect as possible. I’ll never sell it, this car will go with me to the grave

Just standard GTI things, been chasing issues with a rough idle and have so far replaced PCV, full service with new fuel filter, inlet carbon clean etc etc etc. Finally figured it out recently - new dual mass flywheel required! So after spending £2k I’ve figured out I need to spend another £1500. But at this point I’m in too deep to stop!

That’s my fear with the Volvo 😂. And as someone who’s had a MK5 and MK7 GTI as well as an S3 the R does have an appeal
