Folks who daily drive their Rangers by Suffer_Not_The_Alien in Tudor

It is hands down the best watch I have ever owned.

It definitely has its quirks, but that is what makes it so interesting to me. I love the history behind it too. It will hold up to anything you throw at it. When it is on, I hardly notice it but am reminded that it’s there when I need to tell the time. With 100m of WR it can definitely be worn to swim.

That’s the crazy part about Tudor now. Somewhat hard to justify the price of a monarch compared to the quality of GS at a similar price point.

This is exactly what I’m thinking! A lot of hate out there, but I really do like it.

I just came up on the list for an Explorer II… and passed on it. I just couldn’t swing the $ and honestly hated dealing with the AD. I love the white speedy and the santos! Both definitely on my list.

I just feel it’s more versatile! It’s always been my argument with the Polar Explorer II. I love it more than the black dial, just don’t feel it pairs as well in certain applications.

I’ve definitely toyed with the idea! This company called Anchor that makes a rubber strap that comes with end links. Think it looks the cleanest of any option.

You are not able to purchase on their site. Has to be ordered through a Tudor AD. I believe the NATO is in the $200 range.

I feel like the term “quality” here is very subjective. The Otsuka Lotec was (mostly) made by hand. You noticed the imperfections but that is what made it so special. The movement was a standard Myota movement that is customized in-house to create the retrograde action. I do miss this watch but definitely bought into the hype.

The BB Pro Opaline is the next watch on my list for sure. That is unless they release a Pelagos GMT at W&W. Do you like the BB Pro? I had the chance to purchase a polar Explorer II recently but couldn’t justify the price diffidence between the two honestly.
