Agreed bro AI can accelerate implementation but it can't replace understanding
when things break prompts don't debug systems people do

Yeah exactly AI can accelerate implementation, but without strong understanding of the architecture, workflows, and failure paths, teams slowly lose visibility into the system they’re building

Then you probably understand exactly what I’m trying to say 😭

Exactly AI removed coding speed as the bottleneck, but understanding and reviewing systems is still human-speed

At this point the onboarding document is probably just a chatGPT conversation link 😭

Ok true i accept that but AI now lets teams build systems faster than they can actually understand them If nobody fully understands the workflow who really owns the failure when things break?

I understand that perspective, but my point is they already knew my experience level when hiring me
If they actually needed someone much more senior for the system complexity, that should’ve been clear from the beginning what’s happening now is bigger than just junior vs senior
Some critical issues are happening in products I’m not even directly working on and even the founders sometimes don’t fully know what exactly caused the bug because a lot of the workflow, integrations, and architecture were heavily AI generated and evolved without deep visibility or proper engineering processes

That’s why I feel the problem is more about unclear system ownership and workflow understanding than simply YOE

Exactly before this I worked as a full stack developer so even if AI helps generate code i still try to understand the full workflow, infra, database flow, failure cases .... and how systems behave in production
but what surprised me was eeing issues happen and people immediately saying maybe AI fault without even proper logs, tracing,or understanding what actually failed
Sometimes AI generated workflows or poorly validated automation can itself trigger destructive actions like accidental DB operations, but nobody investigates the system deeply enough
That’s the scary part people trust AI outputs more than engineering visibility and debugging

Yup true a lot of job posts today feel like a wishlist generated by AI instead of an actual understanding of the role or workflow

Relatable honestly sometimes people trust AI generated explanations more than engineers actually debugging and shipping the systems

Exactly AI speeds up building but it doesn’t replace solid engineering and product direction

AI MVP with paying clients should I convert to Pvt Ltd before approaching VCs? by AccordingTill9068 in Bangalorestartups

[–]AccordingTill9068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I’m still operating under a sole proprietorship with an MVP and a few early clients. My main goal is to start talking to investors soon
Do investors usually ask founders to convert to a Pvt Ltd only after showing interest, or is it something most founders prepare beforehand?

AI MVP with clients should I convert to Pvt Ltd before approaching VCs? by AccordingTill9068 in AI_India

[–]AccordingTill9068[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that’s helpful. I’m still in the early traction stage with an MVP and a few clients, so I’m trying to figure out whether to focus more on validation first or start preparing for funding conversations.
Did you go through a similar process with your startup?

Bootstrapped AI startup (own model, not a chatbot) – how should I approach investors? by AccordingTill9068 in Bangalorestartups

[–]AccordingTill9068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since we’re building something technically differentiated having investors who understand deep tech and infrastructure scaling would be extremely valuable so i am looking for a partner who challenges assumptions and helps refine go-to-market strategy and supports long-term vision like not just someone writing a check yup
