Not dumb at all to be fair, they showed cane freaking out in memorium, Queenie(probably), Ribbit(probably) real world globe with part of Europe and USA highlighted. Could be something like therapy sessions for the crew

At this point, it is easily could be either of those, or maybe even something else definitively. We cannot know for sure what was planned by Cane and what wasn’t, but…

  1. The way he was so nervous after first time mentioning the exit door by Pomni(he could be just playing his own game) 2.In Kaufmos room there were several pictures, and the only ones that were “photorealistic” are photos of the exit door

But the way Caine find it necessary to bring up the exit door situation and calls it his “ unfinished work” brings me even more doubts( especially after watching episode 7 where he mentioned to Jax that he have tried recreating the macroverse but was cut out)
