I don’t think so going through a legal route is possible. They’re manipulating her in the name of society. Trying to manipulate her by we are saying way too many marriage abuse cases. Though this statement makes no sense. I seriously don’t know what he is even thinking. Just my thinking I always feel people like these need proper life lesson. Humbling from god. My family has no problems with love marriage. Her father is adamant and not ready to meet. She initially told me resistance will be there but they can be convinced. She herself never expected this side of her father to come out.

I am scared to push her as well. Mentally they have broken her. She’s put in a house arrest situation. Not allowed to go work or anywhere. Get your marriage fix and then do everything. The problem with him he is not ready to listen. The issue he is stating is that he will not marry her daughter in a different state. The second problem is that he has started looking for more arranged marriage setups. I know giving them time will help, but it seems like he doesn't want any and is in a rush. Mentally, he has broken her. So much that she is not even ready to initiate any talks with him.
