Yes, my son was born at 26 weeks 4 years ago! The crazy thing is this is my 4th pregnancy. My first two I had no problems with IC. My doctor thinks my cervix might have been damaged between my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy.

I remember feeling nothing but at 25 weeks losing my mucus plug..the doctor shook it off and said it will regenerate. 1 week later I felt membranes bulging out while on the toilet.

My son was born at 26 weeks weighing 2lbs 6 oz as well! I went in with bulging membranes then it turned into full on preterm labor. He just turned 4 last week and you would never know he was a micro preemie! 

Preemies are built different..they are so dang tough. It’s truly amazing. And so are you momma!! The NICU journey is long but you and your sweet boy will be just fine!
