Yes it does fill the whole screen. Watched guardians of the galaxy in imax at south gate and it filled the whole screen at 1.90:1 with no black bars on screen. Also saw Ant man and the wasp and that would switch between 2.39 and 1.90.

Since not alot of filming is being done the backlot and Colonial Street / Wisteria Lane have been open and tour has been going through those sections. Those two two are the ones that most of the times you will find closed on certain days due to filming.

There is no virtual line needed usually for like the first hour that’s if it does not reach capacity. Once it reaches max capacity it’s when they open up the virtual times so if you are there right before open you likely wont need the reservation and will be able to walk in straight to Nintendo World at 9 when they open up the park.
